Updated: Jun 29, 2022

Within the technology sector, two areas have stood out recently in terms of investor interest: Cybersecurity and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS). Transaction volumes have been high in both these sub-sectors as represented by 20 publicly disclosed deals in Australia over the last three years, valued at $3.6 billion, and over 50 deals where the commercial details of the transactions have remained private. This activity reflects the very fragmented market and the preference for inorganic growth via acquisitions.

Our in-depth report analyses the deal landscape, valuation multiples and the leading domestic players of these two sub-segments.
